I really don't enjoy political topics, but i forced myself to write a strip last night and this came out. It features my first character, a balloon. It's pretty easy to draw a balloon so i thought it would be a good place to start.
a few messups, you can see I wasn't sure where to put the protest sign, so i drew his pants first. Always start with forefront objects first. Also, my eyes for balloon man in the second box are done very wrong.
What do you guys think? A good first start?
